Each step has a description, an image, and optionally parts from the BOM — just drag the image onto the step area.

Design the page layout
Steps are placed into a template, images and text can be dragged around the page with the mouse — no graphic design skills needed.

Define the step's BOM content
For each step you set how many of which parts are used.

Export the result to PDF and HTML
A print-ready PDF for the shop floor, or direct printing — the layout stays the same as in the editor.

Navody Editor is a standalone desktop application (Electron) independent of SolidWorks or any other CAD system. Supports Windows 10 and 11, 64-bit.

FAQ
Can the BOM be imported, or does it have to be typed by hand?
It can be imported from CSV or Excel (part name, drawing number, quantity) and then just assigned to individual steps by dragging.
Can the instruction be translated into more languages?
Yes, step text can be duplicated into another language within the same file — the page layout and images stay shared, only the text changes.
What format do the input images need?
PNG, JPG or SVG — Navody Editor places them on the page at their original quality; downscaling only affects the editor view, not the export.
