FAQ

What's the difference between custom and configuration-specific properties?

Custom properties apply to the whole file, configuration-specific ones vary by the active configuration. The grid shows both side by side and tells them apart with a column.

Does bulk editing work across multiple assemblies at once?

Yes, you can add several open assemblies or a chosen folder on disk to the grid — filtering and bulk editing then work across all of them at once.

Do the values stay in sync with the drawing?

SW Property Manager changes properties through the SolidWorks API just like manual editing, so drawing notes linked to properties update normally.
